End of the Pier

Design and construction of a temporary floating event space on London’s Union Canal. The pier took inspiration from traditional British sea-side pleasure pavilions and played on the idea that a building detached from solid ground could be a place of fantasy and frivolity. The pontoon provided a docking point for rowing and tour boats and incorporated a hall of mirrors, seating area and viewing point.
