Dynevor Road
This colourful Stoke Newington family home has been created by reconnecting two cramped maisonettes, refurbishing and opening up living spaces and introducing a warm and vibrant palette of joinery and finishes.
As the internal footprint effectively doubled, our clients welcomed ideas on opening up areas in their home, creating new connections and maximising natural light entering the lower levels. The floor above the kitchen was removed, forming a mezzanine walkway with a slender metal balustrade, perfect for perching above and observing activities below.
Partitions were reformed to rationalise the layout and create generous living spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms. A family of new joinery elements has been introduced, combining rich oak furniture board with blue valchromat, which sets the tone for a warm and textured material palette throughout.
